Volunteer Opportunity:
Meal for Wareham Gatemen Baseball Team

Our church is excited to once again provide a meal for the Wareham Gatemen baseball team on Saturday, July 13th. This has been a cherished tradition for many years, and we need your help to make it a success!

Event Details:

  • Date: July 13, 2024
  • Location: Spillane Field
    54 Marion Road, Wareham, MA 02571

Meal Preparation:

  • Menu: American Chop Suey, salad, and garlic bread
  • Preparation Time: Starting at 4pm in Fellowship Hall

Volunteer Needs:

  1. Cooking Volunteers: Help us prepare the meal starting at 4pm.
  2. Transport and Serving Volunteers: Assist with transporting the food to Spillane Field, serving the team, interns, and coaches after the game, and returning leftovers to the hall for cleanup. (Please note this could be a late evening depending on the game’s end time.)

Dessert Donations:

  • We are asking the congregation to bake cookies or squares, packaged in Ziploc baggies, to serve as dessert.
  • Drop-off Time: Anytime after 1pm on Saturday, July 13th in Fellowship Hall.
