Arts at the Stone church Cafe

The Arts at the Stone Church, a program of the First Congregational Church of Wareham UCC, is excited to announce a call for artists to celebrate Pride Month in our Artful Pride annual show.
Artful Pride is more than an event; it’s a manifestation of collective strength, resilience, unity, and the beauty of love. We believe art can inspire change, foster dialogue, and celebrate diversity. We invite you to participate in Artful Pride to showcase your talent and contribute to a meaningful celebration of LGBTQ+ pride.
We encourage artwork that reflects the vibrant spirit of the LGBTQ+ community and the resiliency of individuals in the community. We believe art builds bridges of respect, support, and friendship across cultural, social, and political boundaries. Artwork should convey messages of love, unity, diversity, and acceptance. We also welcome an examination of the barriers of discrimination, fear, or violence faced because of one’s identity, particularly how the community of love offers healing and
empowerment. We seek to provide a joy filled celebration of the strength and success of the LGBTQ+community and how their efforts also heal the larger society.
